Kinds of Tiki Torches

There are lots of kinds of tiki torches you need to know before having one of those in your yard. You might be wanting a less expensive Do It Yourself torch that would incline to your fences, walls or posts; you may want to have the lighted wood carved lamp like the design of tikis; you might be wanting the more primitive look of the bamboos; the conventional look and environmental friendly of the solar tiki lamps; and, the modern look and lustrous texture of the copper and metal tiki torches. Either way, you still need to choose the ones that are appropriate to your backyard. The following are their individual description and steps to make.

DIY Wine Bottle Tiki torches

Various Kinds Of Tiki Torches
This DIY tiki torch is easy to make. They are only composed of a wine bottle, a wick and a tiki oil or citronella. You only need to gather the empty wine bottles from your storage room. Wrap a nylon plumbing thread around the end of the copper pipe. Make it fit snugly into the mouth of the bottle. Make sure that the fitting is solid enough to avoid falling out very easily, but not tight enough to allow an easy refilling of the fuel. Then, insert the wick through the pipe fitting and pull it through so that the wick will reach to the bottom of the bottle. Trim the excess cloth or wick so that the one-half inch of the wick will extend to the other end.
